Mervyn's Madeleines

Exceptional! Love the vibes of Mervyn’s spot, it was so windy on a scorching afternoon with such relaxed vibes by a condo pool Above all, really adore the food, pastries and homely service! We’re really lucky we got to try today’s off-the-menu special, crispy-skin sea bass. Honestly, his bakes completely redefined the boundaries of how incredible freshly-baked madeleines and financiers can be Mervyn and his mum are just so warm and friendly, looking forward to trying more of the menu and specials! Thank you for the yummy lunch~

Poolside cafe run by a chap who is passionate about making good food. Not easy to find people like that in Singapore. Enjoyed our Nasi lemak, will be back to try other things! Plus, nothing better than freshly baked financiers!

The food was super tasty and feels home cooked. The place is a bit unique as it’s located in a condo facing the pool. It’s on the lower level of the restaurant / shops block so you have to enter the condo and make ur way down to the pool level. We had a great meal here!

Delicious Nasi Lemak and Carbonara . Nice folks running the place. A quiet environment. For first-timers, it’s located by the pool side so you’ll need to enter the condo and head towards the pool. Thank you for the food and the experience!

such a great find - Serves almond financiers (10 for $8) & madeleines (5 for $6), at super affordable prices! They do great mains too - Seabass ($20) was well done, crispy skin & flaky fish. Green curry was made from scratch by the paste and nice, although nothing super extraordinary. Comforting dish. Boss was really friendly!

The food was absolutely delicious—every bite was a delight! My partner and I especially loved the madeleine for its slightly crispy exterior and soft, fluffy texture. We’ll definitely be back to try more! The owners were incredibly friendly too! Definitely a hidden gem!

The cafe is located right beside the Ridgewell Condominium swimming pool, so you'll have to go past the guardhouse to visit. I kept seeing ads on Instagram for the cafe so I just thought to visit out of curiosity. Ordered their signature nasi lemak and the famous Madeleines. The Madeleines were fantastic. Perfectly pillowy and soft, the confectionery had a subtle orange flavour. The owner told me their Madeleines are baked fresh upon order, so there was a 15 min wait. But honestly if you're not pressed for time, it's absolutely worth the wait. Each box comes with 5 golden, perfectly delicious Madeleines. The nasi lemak was just alright. It didn't come with anchovies or peanuts, or even a proper sambal (the 'sambal' that was served tasted more like belacan, actually), but the chicken was decently seasoned, and the rice was good. Will absolutely visit again to try the other baked items.

Tucked away into Ridgewood Condo is this delightful find! Especially with the 4pm Eatigo 50% off deal, we were delighted by how delicious the food was. The Ayam Goreng Berempah was flavourful & fragrant, with tasty sambal that packs a kick & a generous portion of beautifully marinated chicken. The pork ragu was flavourful and tasty too. Especially with an icy mango smoothie on a hot day, chill poolside vibes, and an enthusiastic chef/cashier, we’ll be back! Just note that it’s a little tricky coming by public transport—turn right at guest parking into the metal gate.
